Photographer Patty Stewart Is Focused on Her Future

Antsy or camera shy toddlers won’t try the patience of veteran photographer Patty Stewart.
“I remember getting a little camera when I was 6 or 7 years old‚” Stewart recalls. “I would chase chickens trying to get their photos.”
Stewart long ago decided to make her childhood hobby a career‚ working as a professional for more than 28 years. She worked in a darkroom for a few years before opening her own studio‚ Patty Stewart Photography and Graphic Design‚ which specializes in weddings‚ family portraits and children’s events.
Though she operates a studio in West Monroe‚ much of her work is done outdoors. Her three acres of land give her ample outdoor vistas‚ and she also does extensive traveling to shoot on location.
“We’ve traveled the world for photo shoots‚” Stewart says. “It’s a very rewarding job.”
Stewart’s hard-earned stellar reputation keeps her calendar filled. She can be scheduled by appointment only by calling (318) 396-5312 or visiting www.pattystewartphotography.com.
